A. Purpose: This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD) is seeking firms doing business in North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611430 Professional and Management Development Training.B. Introduction/Background: The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is a best-in-class corporate university for the Defense Acquisition Workforce. DAU's mission is to Provide a global learning environment to develop qualified acquisition, requirements and contingency professionals who deliver and sustain effective and affordable warfighting capabilities. In support of this mission, DAU provides acquisition mission assistance to various DOD agensies. DAU's Mission Assistance activities include Mission Assistance Workshops. These Workshops are commercial courses delivered by DAU faculty for requesting DOD organizations
at the customer's location or at DAU facilities.C. Objective: DAU requires Franklin Covey training workshop course materials to include Leading at the Speed of Trust, Speed of Trust Foundations, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and The 7 Habits for Managers, and The Five Choices for Extraordinary Productivity to support it's Mission Assistance Workshops.In addition, DAU requires training workshop materials to be provided as a "participant kit" and generally include a participant guide, book, and other job aids. This also needs to include exclusive access to web and smartphone resources and apps. This may also include 360 assessments, depending on the workshop.Training materials will be delivered to multiple locations throughout the year, based on customer requests for training including the Fort Belvoir DAU campus (CNE) and California, MD (Mid-Atlantic)D. Response Requirements:Responses to this notice must include:1. Company name, address and phone number2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) code and DUNS number3. Primary Point of Contact name, phone and email address4. A summary description that demonstrates the ability to meet the aforementioned objectives. Respondents should provide complete responses to each objective addressed above.5. If respondent has a government contract vehicle such as a Federal Supply Schedule or other government-wide use contract that would address the scope of this requirement, please indicate contract number in your response.6. Questions Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning this Sources Sought Notice no later than 2:00 PM (EST), Friday, December 22, 2017.E. Deadline: The Government requests interested parties to submit a letter of interest and statement of current ability to supply the above supplies via email with the subject line "Franklin Covey Training Workshop Material Courses" to Ricardo M. Vasquez at ricardo.m.vasquez.ctr@mail.mil by 2:00 PM (EST), Friday, December 29, 2017.F.
