The existing US-395 has two lanes within the project limits, one lane in each direction, with additional turning lanes at intersections. This Project would widen US-395 from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, with a continuous median, for a distance of approximately 7 miles between I-15 and SR-18 (Palmdale Rd) including adding a bridge over the California Aqueduct.
