C-17 Aircraft Globemaster Operational Enhancements (GLOBE 2.0)

This proposed acquisition will result in a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursement (CR) pricing arrangements will also be utilized as reasonable. This service contract will support the United States Air Force (USAF), Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command, and Foreign Military (FMS) partner nations. Support encompasses necessary augmentation of the Government’s Air Force Test Center/412TH Test wing, as well as conducting Studies and Quick Reaction (S&QR) tasks to meet mission and end-user requirements.Unlike previous efforts, the initial support to be solicited will NOT include new development efforts as there is ongoing market research to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy to address these capabilities.  The IDIQ will have a five-year ordering period with Period of Performance specified on each individual order.  It will also include the “Option to Extend Services” clause (FAR 52.217-8), which allows for an additional six months of performance on individual orders as required. The effective date of the contract is anticipated to begin in December 2023.This is a sole source requirement to The Boeing Company, (DBA: Boeing) 4000 North Lakewood Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90808, CAGE: 18355, Large Business.
