Hotel Meeting Space Rental

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one-time, sole source basis to:  Plymouth Downtown BVL Operating Group, LLC, dba Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor,180 Water Street, Plymouth, MA 02360 for the purpose of providing meeting space rental to host the Digital Forensic Examiner Moot Court event scheduled to occur June 12-16, 2023. Meeting needs require the facility to have a large lecture hall or auditorium capable of seating up to 110 attendees. Additionally, the event will require seven (7) breakout rooms of various sizes and layouts, administrative workspace, and storage. At a minimum, these breakout rooms must be able to accommodate twenty (20) seats. Each room must have electrical outlets and the capability for portable audio-visual equipment to be setup. Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor can provide both the meeting space requirements and on-site lodging within GSA identified rates for the location and time of year for this event. The

resultant contract will fulfill the FBI’s requirement to evaluate the Forensic Examiner in training proficiency necessary to perform their job in order to become fully certified as Digital Forensic Examiners as required by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
