This project includes the development of detailed design and contract documents, tender, and construction for a full renovation of an existing 26,000 sq. ft. former bus terminal building at 1566 12th Avenue, Prince George to use as a BCEHS multipurpose ambulance facility (MPAF).The upgrades contemplated to convert an old Greyhound station to a MPAF comprise of a significant demolition of the existing interior main floor space. Re-planning of the space will be required to accommodate programming for 12 ambulances, three administration vehicles, warehousing and equipment storage, an apparatus wash bay, equipment repair, clean supply/kit storage, receiving, medical gas storage, men’s and women’s change/locker facilities, exercise room, crew quarters/dorms, crew kitchen/lounge, training room, boardroom, administrative support space, washrooms, and ancillary support space.
