LOCAL SAFETY ACTION PLANS

The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. (NJTPA) is seeking consultant support from qualified firms to develop Local Safety Action Plans in coordination with participating NJTPA counties. These plans inform a comprehensive approach to advancing safety improvements in accordance with the Federal Highway Association’s (FHWA) National Road Safety Strategy and Safe System Approach. Local Safety Action Plans are also a FHWA proven safety countermeasure.
