The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Eunice Kennedy Shriver, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing Next-Generation Sequencing.The research goal of the NIDDK is Gene editing using CRISPR/Cas9 technology is a promising tool to investigate not only gene function but it has potential for aspects of translational science. For this very reason, it is absolutely necessary to investigate the specificity of CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. It is essential to understand the degree of off target mutations

introduced by this gene editing tool.The specific objective is to obtain the DNA sequence of forty mouse genomes. The contractor needs to generate libraries from genomic DNA from forty mice and conduct Whole Genome Sequencing. It is anticipated that the actual work will take approximately 2 months from receipt of a purchase order.The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 541380 with a size standard of 1000. All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government's requirements for the above. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 15 pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the requirements above. Your capability statement, not to exceed 15 pages, should include references.
