Rapid Flashing Beacon Assemblies (Crosswalk Light) at Intersection of Main Street and Ripley Hill Rd

INVITATION TO BID 

Sealed bids for 'Town Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon Assemblies -Type Bat Intersection of Main Street (CT RT 31) and Ripley Hill Road." will be received until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Town Manager's Office, Town Hall, 1712 Main Street, Coventry, CT. This project involves the installation of two sets of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons Assemblies Type Bat the existing crosswalk at the intersection of Main Street and Ripley Hill Road. The Town of Coventry obtained COOT Encroachment Permit #1020415 on 12/4/2020. The perspective bidder shall make themselves aware of the project area prior to submitting bids. 

Contract documents, pdf format, can be obtained from the Town's website under Bid Postings at https://www.coventryct.org/bids.aspx. Bidder shall utilize the bid form, 10% bid bond, projected contractor's schedule, qualifications of bidder, and non-collusion forms in the manual. 

The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. 

No Bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
