The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decisions, to include set aside decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541620 – Environmental Consulting Services.The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) Region 9 Safety and Environmental Branch requires Environmental Risk Management Surveys to be conducted on an annual basis. The Region 9 Safety and Environmental Branch is responsible for ensuring their facilities are in compliance with Federal regulations and nationally recognized

consensus standards regarding environmental compliance. This involves periodic surveys of federal buildings and facilities for compliance with applicable regulations. The Environmental Risk Management Surveys are required to ensure GSA owned buildings are in compliance with all applicable public law, local, state, and Federal laws / regulations.GSA is seeking an Environmental Contractor to provide all management, supervision, personnel, support services, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the performance of the consolidated survey. Throughout the site visit the contractor shall consider all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, executive orders, permits, conditions associated with permits, and their requirements, permit rules, and other agreements and commitments that have been made with government agencies and apply procedures and protocols as required for each site.The Environmental Compliance Assessment shall be performed by an Environmental Professional as defined by 40 CFR 312.10(b). The Environmental Professional(s) shall be knowledgeable of the Federal, State and local environmental laws and regulations applicable to the property.This contract will have an estimated period of performance of a base year of 12 months and up to four option years of 12 months. The attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided for all interested parties to review and determine if they can meet the requirements of this contract.
