The Darien Public Schools is accepting bids for three (3) 2023 or 2024 New Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Passenger Vehicles or three (3) 2023 or 2024 New Ford Transit 350 XL: Minimum Specifications: • Exterior Color: White • Seating must be a minimum of 15 passengers • Active brake assist • Sliding door, passenger side • Side windows • Electronic Sliding Door right Vehicles must be available for possession no later than August 2, 2024. Bids can be hand delivered to 35 Leroy Avenue, Darien CT before 2pm on April 29, 2024 Bids may be emailed to Sheila Flinn at sflinn@darienps.org before 2pm on April 29, 2024 Envelopes must be marked Vehicle Bid on the front of the envelope. to Bid for any reason, to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in any Bid, and to make such award (or make no award) of a contract in connection with this Invitation to Bid all as determined by the Board, in its discretion, to be in the best interest of the Board. A Bid may be rejected for irregularities of any kind, including without limitation, alteration of form, additions not called for, conditional proposals, and incomplete Bids. A Bid may also be rejected if, in the opinion of the Board, the Bid does not meet the standard of quality established by the Bidding Documents. Any or all Bids may be rejected if there is any reason to believe that collusion exists among two or more Bidders.
