Technical Project Management Services Project Description :As part of the curriculum redesign, Alberta Education is developing the new LearnAlberta (http://new.LearnAlberta.ca) to support the work of staff and learning partners in the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of provincial curriculum for K-12. It is envisioned that the new LearnAlberta will enable learning and teaching resources to be accessed and utilized in innovative, efficient and purposeful ways. This system’s ability to aggregate components will increase the variety of learning experiences that are available to Alberta students. Alberta Education anticipates awarding up to two (2) Contracts for the provision of Technical Project Management Services described in this RFP. The Technical Project Managers will be responsible for leading new LearnAlberta and other technology‐focused projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will manage project teams, identify, and mitigate risks, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that projects align with business objectives. The role of the Contractor’s Resource under any resulting Contract will involve providing technical project management services on an inflight agile, cloud software development project as well as several projects within the Digital Content Management and Delivery branch of the Curriculum
