imagery, maps, and models of natural and artificial features on or above the surface of the earth. The bidder represents that all equipment shall be new. Demonstration, prototype, discontinued, or soon-to-be discontinued (within six months of contract award date) models or releases will not be accepted. All computers, parts, cables, accessories, adapters, firmware, and/or software not explicitly mentioned within this specification, which are necessary for the system to be fully functional, shall be furnished by the successful bidder as incidental items included in the bid price. This scanning system will be used to collect, register, store, perform feature extraction, and model simple to complex planimetric (2D and 3D) and topographic features to be used as the foundation for 3D models in a computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) environment for the design, construction, and as-built of small to large complex transportation projects.
