The U.S. Agency for Global Media, Thailand Transmitting Station at Rasom (USAGM/TTS) to replace the SLC 500 DX-1000 transmitter control system and DH+ communication network. Work is to be performed at the U.S. Agency for Global Media Transmitting station site at Rasom, Ayutthaya Province, Thailand. The contract type shall be firm-fixed price.The Bangkok Transmission Stations DX-1000 Harris transmitter is equipped with SLC 500 control system and DH+ communication network. The current SLC 5/04 and SLC 5/01 ladder program, HD+ communication network, MMI, and Allen-Bradley software technology are outdated, representing challenges locating hardware spare parts and software maintenance. The desired DX-1000 transmitter controller system is Allen-Bradley CompactLogix control system and Ethernet communication network platform.This SOW is to provide the requirements for a contractor to survey the site, to provide a replacement design, and then to replace new DX-1000 transmitter controller system. Potential Offerors will be permitted to visit the site to gather all information necessary to provide a cost proposal for the replacement design and implementation. Each offeror must provide a project proposal that includes a design layout, panel layout, schematic and block diagram for the work planned, details of the equipment proposed for installation, a narrative in English of 300 or more words describing their proposed work, and a detailed cost proposal to provide a full engineering design and to then implement the design. The narrative must detail the contractors plan to minimize down time for existing transmitter controller system during the work and a plan to keep the existing system daily broadcasting requirements of the BAK-01 transmitter system during replacement until the new system is properly
