Project Description:The City seeks to elevate its business attraction efforts by implementing a new business recruitment strategy. To that end, the City wants to identify those target industries (including specific subsectors) that best fit the City’s assets and market strengths, recognizing its enviable position with respect to water rights.
The City and region’s current economic foundation includes agriculture, defense/military installations, tourism, and manufacturing. While the City has focused on these target sectors in its business attraction efforts, this analysis will provide a tailored business recruitment program that best fits the market

assets and economic development priorities of the City’s elected leadership.
