Library Services Platform Software Solution

This RFP is an invitation to submit proposals for review by the Group for the provision of a collectively-shared, cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS), comprehensive Library Services Platform (LSP) Software Solution, composed of four (4) independent but collaboratively interconnected libraries. The proposed solution will integrate traditional and emerging library workflows for operational efficiency, meet evolving library user needs (both within and outside of the immediate LSP), provide seamless interoperability with external data systems, satisfy the need for robust analytics, and accommodate future service growth and change. The proposed solution provider will deliver ongoing system support services and will demonstrate a commitment to continual product enhancements based on industry innovation. It is the Group’s intention to enter into a form of agreement to this RFP with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years with an option in favour of each member of the Group to extend the agreement on the same or similar terms and conditions for an additional two (2) year term. It is anticipated that the agreement will commence on June 10, 2024. Proposals received will be evaluated via a or four (4) stage method in which the highest ranking proponent will be invited to enter negotiations with RDP. Contract duration The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/06/10.
