Writing and Editing Services Project Description :BACKGROUND The Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council addresses human resource issues facing agriculture businesses in Canada. Its objectives are to support an adequate, reliable, and well-trained work force that will strengthen the ability of the farm community to thrive and be successful in an internationally competitive marketplace. The Council’s efforts are collaborative and involve the participation of agricultural leaders, governments and educational stakeholders to research, develop and implement solutions to challenges in employment and skills development in primary agriculture. It is recognized as the centre for reliable labour market information, and the access point for customizable solutions related to HR management and training. The Council is soliciting proposals from service providers to provide writing and editing services for our organization. The purpose of this RFSO is to select suitable contractor(s) and establish a Standing Offer Agreement with the successful bidder(s) for the provision of services. Experience within the Agriculture sector is required. Ability to provide services in French will be considered an asset. THE WORK Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and during the timeline outlined below, the service provider may be engaged to provide services for one or multiple projects, as necessary. The following activities may be required: - Create and/or revise written materials for various target markets, including: press releases, articles, white papers, customer testimonials, case studies, brochures, website content, reports, and infographics - Edit written materials, including: substantive or structural editing, stylistic editing, rewriting, copy editing, and proofreading. Additional writing and editing related services may also be required. TERM The term of the mandate will be for a period of two years, from March 1, 2023 to February 28, 2025 with an option to extend. GUIDELINES If you are qualified, please submit a proposal that demonstrates your understanding of the requirement and your experience in providing similar writing and editing services within the agriculture industry. Your submission should include a description of your qualifications and experience, and a pricing structure outlining your rates.
