Purchasing (DOP), on behalf of the Idaho Commerce of Commerce (DEPARTMENT), is seeking to hire a contractor to provide an economic impact study, focusing on the rural areas of Idaho. The Contractor will collect and analyze data to create an Idaho Rural economic and community development strategy as directed by the Department. The Contractor is responsible for collecting all data, including but not limited to, open and proprietary sources as well as information curated specifically for this project. While the Department may assist with data collection the Contractor must be responsible compiling the information. The Contractor must consult with the Department prior to issuing any analysis. The Contractor must work with existing partners, including but not limited to Community and Economic Development Specialists, Department staff, government entities, and citizens if required.
