The University awarded a contract for traffic and broadcast programming system.
University of Illinois Springfield on behalf of NPR Illinois will acquire an automation and traffic system to manage broadcast programming at the radio station. Wide Orbit's system provides both platforms with seamless integration.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for programming and broadcast license rights for university-operated radio and television stations(30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(7)) broadcast programming
