2023 Industrial Street Renewals-Beghin Ave, Dugald Rd, & Various Other Locations Project Description :D3. SCOPE OF WORK D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of: (a) Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation (i) Beghin Avenue from Paquin Road to De Baets Street (ii) Dugald Road from Dawson Road North to Panet Road (iii) Mazenod Road from Dugald Road to De Baets Street (Northbound) (iv) Mazenod Road from Dugald Road to De Baets Street (Southbound) (b) Asphalt Pavement Rehabilitation (i) Panet Road from Marion Street to Dugald Road D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation (i) Planing of existing asphalt, as required; (ii) Renewal of existing sidewalk, as required; (iii) Construction of new 100mm concrete sidewalk; (iv) Installation of detectable warning tiles; (v) Installation of catch basins / catch pits and connection pipes; (vi) Abandon existing drainage inlets; (vii) Full depth concrete joint and slab repairs; (viii)

Removal / renewal of existing curb; (ix) Construction of monolithic barrier curb and splash strip; (x) Installation / renewal of modified barrier curb and curb ramp; (xi) Adjustment of precast sidewalk blocks; (xii) Adjustment of existing catch basin, catch pit, and manhole frames and covers; (xiii) Adjustment of water main valves, curb stops and other appurtenances; (xiv) Placement of pavement repair fabric, as required; (xv) Placement of asphalt overlay; (i) Thickness 80mm (average) ◻ Beghin Avenue ◻ Dugald Road ◻ Mazenod Road (Northbound) ◻ Mazenod Road (Southbound) (xvi) Boulevard restoration and sod. (b) Asphalt Pavement Rehabilitation (i) Planing of existing asphalt; (ii) Full depth patching of asphalt pavement; (iii) Preparation of existing granular shoulders; (iv) Construction of granular shoulders; (v) Installation / renewal of barrier curb and curb ramp; (vi) Placement of pavement repair fabric; (vii) Placement of asphalt overlay (125mm average); (viii) Partial and full asphalt paving of existing private approaches; (ix) Placement of asphalt on GWWD rail crossing; (x) Installation of detectable warning tiles.
