RFP Section 1.3 – Objectives Summary The Purchaser(s) seeks qualified proponents with extensive hospital experience for the provision of CVH Perimeter Doors - Security & Fire Life Safety Integration for the following objectives in an agreement (the “Agreement”) resulting from this RFP: •The scope of work will involve tying new doors into our security monitoring
system to allow us to monitor events such as fire troubles, power failures, and door events. •There are also existing doors that will need to be rewired to new power supplies throughout the facility. Door contacts will need to be installed if not existing already. 6 new power supplies will also be installed as part of the project. •The existing Scope of Work is contingent upon approval by consultant. •The vendor will be required to carry Johnson Controls (JCI) and Siemen’s cost for the security and fire portions of this project. •Vendor will be required to consult with Johnson Controls (JCI) for the parts required for this job. •J-Hooks will be used when running the cable where possible. •Firestopping must be included for any holes drilled. 1.
