(Mission Canyon Sewer District) Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The Project consists of the installation of approximately 1,167 feet of 8-inch sewer main on Tunnel Road. The Project also includes all ancillary sewer manholes, sewer laterals, traffic control, and other work detailed in the Project Drawings and Specifications. Other Details Excerpt from spec 02312: "The contractor is hereby given the option install the 8’’ sewer main pipeline by directional drilling or in open cut trenches. It is the intent of this specification to define the acceptable methods and materials for installing pipelines by the horizontal directional drilling method and the requirements for high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe installed by directional drilling. Pipelines installed by open cut trench installation method shall be polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material as shown on the plans. Contractor to refer to other specification sections for open cut trenches."
