This pre-solicitation notice is to annouce the upcoming solicitation of Generator Maintenance services at Holloman AFB, NM, which should be posted in the near future. This contract is for a period of five (5) years consisting of one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Estimated award date: 1 June 2023.The following is a summary of the service requirements:There are approximately 10 generators supporting three organizations and the generators are located in multiple areas around the base. The Contractor shall provide all personnel/labor, equipment, materials/supplies, transportation, tools, supervision, and any other non-personal services necessary to perform preventive maintenance generator service. Services include, but not limited to, load testing for the electrical backup generator & automatic transfer switches, providing inspection checklist, load test report, accepted service reports and any other maintenance accomplished. The Contractor shall inform the Government when
generators surpass 90 percent of their service life (9000 hours) enabling coordination for overhaul/replacement purchases to avoid negative mission impact due to a down generator. The contractor shall provide the Government reports of any additional work that will be required from discovery during routine inspections and maintenance. The Government will be responsible for additional cost outside the scope of the requirement. The Contractor will make every effort to accomplish additional required work during the next scheduled inspection in effort to minimize cost to the government. Inspections (monthly, semi-annual, etc.) will be conducted in accordance with each generators' service manual.
