Qualifications: The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to resurface and stripe 1.0 mile of existing asphalt road surface, install new parking areas, install new concrete airplane display structure and open sided shelter according to the details in the specifications. Special Requirements: All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond, made payable to the City of Douglas in the amount of at least five (5) percent of the lump sum bid. Separate contract Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to execution of contracts. Miscellaneous: The work on the project must be completed by September 28, 2024 and within 120 consecutive calendar days of the date of notice to proceed.
