1. This project consists of the furnish and install of new traffic signal poles, mast arms, luminaire arms, Cobalt Traffic Signal Controller and Nema P-Cabinet, signal heads, pedestrian heads, pedestrian push buttons, Opticom receivers, meter pedestal, video detection cameras, underground conduits and associated wiring and equipment to the standards and specifications of the City of Westminster. The bid price submitted

shall include all the equipment and materials and labor to complete a fully functional traffic signal.
2. Traffic Signal poles, mast arms and caissons shall be constructed per the City’s new specification of 2015 AASHTO January 2019 as attached in the Special Conditions.
3. Equipment delivery lead times will not count against the contract time
4. Inspection of the completed traffic signal shall be approved by the City of Westminster. City staff shall have the final determination for all inspection requirements.
5. Please insure that the Contractor’s submission of Xcel Energy’s Builders Call Line Meter Application designates that the City will be responsible for the electrical energy charges.
6. Contractor to request and pay Xcel Energy direct for the electrical service costs and shall be reimbursed by the Force Account pay item.
7. Contractor to install four City furnished LED Luminaires supplied by the City.
