Bid for 2024 ANNUAL SLURRY SEAL OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR BID # 24-273 2024 ANNUAL SLURRY SEAL OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS Sealed proposals will be received at the Division of Purchase of the City of Syracuse, 233 E. Washington St, Room 213, Syracuse, NY 13202 on THURSDAY, MAY 2, 2024, for the 2024 ANNUAL SLURRY SEAL OF Various CITY STREETS until 2:30 p.m. On the same day and immediately thereafter, the sealed proposals will be opened and publicly read by the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase for the City of Syracuse, New York. Sets of plans and specifications for the work under this contract shall only be obtained from the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase upon deposit of a new check or money order in the amount of $75.00, payable to the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Syracuse. Checks transferred from other jobs will not be accepted. To have bid documents mailed, you must

provide your FedEx account number. Your account will be billed directly for the mailing. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for Bidders. Pre-bid Conference: The City of Syracuse has scheduled a pre-bid conference in order to review all of the specific requirements of this contract. Attendance at the pre-bid is recommended but is optional. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. to be held in the Dept. of Engineering Conference Room, 4 th Floor, City Hall, 233 E.
