This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34.0 in millions. The requirement is being competed full and open competition, and with a total small business set-aside restriction.The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for the Carterra LSA instrument used by the Antibody Biology Unit, Laboratory of Immunogenetics:Summit Level Service Contract – Carterra LSA - Product Code 9103, Serial #1019103810Minimum Requirements:Full coverage for OEM replacement parts, labor, and travel. Coverage includes all fees associated with repairs (labor and replacement parts) for any service or repairs performed.Priority scheduling and onsite response for all repairs during the period of performance. Priority scheduling is defined as scheduling, equal to the manufacturer’s direct contract and associated guaranteed onsite response times. If you are a third-party service provider, the priority scheduling and response times, must be listed on your quote.OEM Trained Certified Technician must be available during normal business hours.
