APN - Sustainability Consultant Services Project Description :Advance Procurement Notice Sustainability Consultant Services Various Locations Across Canada (with Security Requirements) Purpose of this Advance Procurement NoticeThis is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential Source List with anticipated security requirements to provide interested consultants an opportunity to begin the sponsorship request process for potentially obtaining the required security clearance(s) that are anticipated. Note that there is no guarantee that this procurement will proceed or that any security clearance(s) will be granted under the sponsorship process in a timely fashion or otherwise. Description of the Source List and ServicesThe selected consultant will be required to provide “as and when required” investigations, studies, strategies, surveys, audits, and reports with a focus to one or more, but not limited to the following activities: • Conduct studies related to

sustainable projects, building systems, building materials resources and processes (ex. Building materials, water systems, waste audits, embodied carbon, etc.); • Feasibility studies on buildings or bases related to improving sustainability including but not limited to: energy, GHG reductions, biodiversity, climate resilience and climate adaptation; • Complete LCCA on: projects, systems and materials in support of studies; • Complete Energy Modelling in support of feasibility studies; and • Develop National/Regional Sustainable Development and Environmental Strategies in accordance with federal sustainable development or environmental commitments. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be initiated in the Fall of 2023. This is conditional on the contract receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND). Contract Award and Anticipated Security RequirementsIn order to be eligible for contract award, a consultant will be required to, among other things, actively hold all required security clearance(s) at the time of closing, as further detailed in the solicitation documents.
