Belmont Retirement Board Requests for Proposals

PUBLIC NOTICE The Retirement Board members (the “Board”) of the Swampscott Retirement System (the “System”) are seeking Requests for Proposal from investment management firms to manage part of the System’s defined benefit plan assets in a Passive U.S. Small Cap Core Equity product managed to replicate the risk and return of the S&P Small Cap 600 Index. The total assets of the System were approximately $84 million as of December 31, 2023 according to the Plan’s custodian. While the precise dollar allocation for this assignment will be determined at the time of funding, we expect the allocation to be between $1 and $10 million. The selected manager(s) must have familiarity with, and agree to comply with the relevant components of Massachusetts G.L.
