2/1/2022 Update: The Library has amended the solicitation and Attachment J-1 to revise and correct some requirements. Amendment 0003 and a copy of Attachment J-1 have been provided in the Attachments/Links section of this posting. A copy of the latest Q&A has also been posted for review. Please review the amended requirements in those documents. Please also note that the Library has updated the due date for proposals.  1/19/2022 Update 2: The Library has amended the solicitation and attachments so as to add additional requirements that were not listed in the prior version of the solicitation. Question #17 in the previously released Q&A is no longer applicable. That prior question asked, "For the Enhanced Desktop, please confirm that no optical drive is required?" The current answer is that the Enhanced Desktop now does require an optical drive.  1/19/2022 Update: The Library has re-opened this notice as we intend to amend the solicitation due to changes in our requirements.  An amendment to the solicitation will be posted later today or tomorrow and offerors will be given a chance to ask questions and submit their proposals before the new due date as is shown here in SAM.gov. 12/17/2021 Update: The Library would like to clarify one aspect of Attachment J-1 for this requirement. The Library will not accept separate or alternative pricing structures in Attachment J-1 such as for specific services in the solicitation such as the 24x7 technical support and support of the devices as is described in Section C. Offerors should include pricing for the technical support and all services mentioned in the solicitation in their pricing for the devices and equipment using the pricing structure in the Price List tab of the amended Attachment J-1. Thank you! 12/16/2021 Update: Thank you for your patience. The Library has extended the due date for proposals to 12/29/2021. We also have provided an amendment to the solicitation, amended J1 attachment and answers to the questions submitted. The documents can be found in the Attachments/Links section of this posting. 12/9/2021 Update: The Library is still reviewing questions and intends to release the answers to received questions early next week. The due date for offers will be updated in an amendment to the solicitation but has also been updated here in this posting to December 22, 2021.   The Library of Congress (Library) has a requirement for various computer hardware to include laptops, desktops, 2 in 1s and other peripheral equipment. This equipment is needed by the Library's Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO)  to support various Library projects and users over the next five years. The Library intends to establish a single award IDIQ for a five year period to allow for the Library to issue orders as needed for the equipment listed in the solicitation and Attachment J-1. If you are interested in responding to this solicitation please review the solicitation and attachments listed in the Attachments/Links section of this posting.
