The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources who may possess the necessary expertise, capabilities, and experience to manufacture the Paratroop Bubble Door conversion kit for the HC-130J aircraft. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and is in accordance with FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information for Planning Purposes. Please see the attached RFI to this announcement to complete and return to the contracting office not later than (NLT) 14 January 2019 by 4:30PM EST. The Acquisition Method Code (AMC) for this effort would be 3P; the government does not own the data rights at this time, products for this effort would have to be acquired directly from the manufacturer, Airdyne Aerospace (CAGE: 6H3N2).The Government intends to award a sole source effort to Airdyne Aerospace (CAGE: 6H3N2).
