The vendors who are determined to be qualified will be placed on the AVL and

will remain there for a period of eighteen (18) months. Previously, an AVL was established for small projects (up to $1.5 Million). This new RFSQ is specifically for large projects of up to $12 Million. All vendors submitting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) must have a bonding capacity of $12 Million. A vendor on the small projects AVL must submit a new Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), which will be evaluated for consideration on this large projects RFSQ. The results of this solicitation will be just the creation of the AVL. No contracts will result from this solicitation. Contractors placed on the AVL will be afforded the opportunity to bid exclusively on selected construction projects within the SLCSD during the next eighteen (18) months. To ensure that you fully understand this solicitation and the requirements contained herein, you must download and review ALL attachments. Do not include any price/cost information with your response to this solicitation. The evaluation will be a 100% technical evaluation. By submitting a SOQ, the vendor represents that he/she has examined, read and familiarized him/herself with the requirements of the solicitation documents. ALL questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted in writing through the Periscope Source system. Questions submitted in any other format will not be addressed. Only answers issued through the system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the SLCSD. Any modification to this procurement effort shall be made by addendum issued by the SLCSD. Only authorized and properly issued addenda shall constitute the official binding position of the SLCSD. Anyone submitting a response to this solicitation, based on other communication or information received from sources other than through official addendum, assumes full risk including the possibility of a determination of non-responsiveness.
