Public Meeting of the Statewide Suicide Prevention Council

The Statewide Suicide Prevention Council (SSPC) will hold its quarterly meeting on Monday, February 5 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. These meetings are open to the public and an agenda with Teams links are available upon request by emailing eric.morrison@alaska.gov. There will be limited opportunity for formal public comment to SSPC members from 2 to 2:15 p.m. due to the short duration of the meeting. This public comment period will be available statewide by teleconference by dialing 907-202-7104 (Phone Conference ID: 173 761 102#) or you can request a link to the videoconference. Alaska's Open Meetings Act (AS 44.62.310) requires all meetings of our Council be open to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in these meetings, but all comments and questions will go through the Chair of the proceedings. Any comments or questions from members of the public should be thoughtful and constructive when offering criticism and should not be used to criticize or attack specific individuals.
