Notice of Application for State Air Quality Permit AQ1242ORL03

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue an Owner Requested Limit approval (ORL) AQ1242ORL03 to Owner/Operator for the CINGSA Facility under Alaska Statute 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50. Applicant: Cook Inlet Natural Gas Storage Alaska, LLC, PO Box 190989 Location: Lat 60°32'37.34" N, Long 151°12'50.00" W Activity: CINGSA proposes an expansion project to meet the request of their customers. This public notice is for the draft ORL only. Emissions: The potential to emit at the stationary source will not exceed 39.64 tpy NO x or 30.73 tpy CO by limiting combined hours of EU IDs 1 and 2 to no more than 5,500 hours per consecutive 12-month period and installing catalytic oxidation systems on EU IDs 1 - 3, 10, and 11. The other regulated pollutants remain below the minor permit thresholds listed in 18 AAC 50.50.2(c)(1) with the limits. ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC has made a preliminary decision to approve the ORL for

the CINGSA Facility. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the ORL after the close of the public comment period.
