Special Notice - Subcontracting Opportunities for the Ashley U.S. Courthouse Modernization and New Annex, in Toledo, OH.  On October 26, 2020, GSA awarded the Design-Build (DB) contract for the modernization and rehabilitation of the existing historic James M. Ashley & Thomas W.L. Ashley U.S. Courthouse and new construction of an Annex in Toledo, OH, to The Whiting Turner Contracting Company.  The project includes design-build services, construction and site development for the new Courthouse Annex.  The existing Ashley U.S. Courthouse has 91,766 gross square feet via four occupied floors and a basement. The Annex will add roughly 95,000 gross square feet to the facility. The Annex is intended to satisfy the programmatic needs of the U.S. District Court, including secure circulation needs.
