Description Intent to Sole Source 36C24221Q1115. This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, Regional Procurement Office - East, on behalf of the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source award to Alliant Healthcare Products dba Alliant Enterprises Arjo Maxi Sky 2 Ceiling Lifts. The Arjo Maxi Sky 2 Ceiling Lift systems will replace the current fleet, which is beyond useful life, and is being replaced to maintain the same standard of care that is available at other medical facilities. The Maxi Sky 2 System includes the Maxi Sky 2 lift motors, additional track installations, T-bars and accessories, built-in scales, hardware kit for continuous charging capability that is already compatible with our existing tracks. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deems only one source reasonably available.
