Bird Control Services - RAF Fairford

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT (RFI) NOTICE. This is not a Request For Quote.The purpose of this Notice is to identify interested contractors that are capable of fulfilling the services identified in the atatched Draft Performance Work Statament (PWS) Overview of Servics: Bird Control shall be performed on the airfield where the presence of birds would present a hazard to aircraft. The Contractor shall perform Bird Control inside of aircraft hangers , buildings and structures on the airfield which have become a habitat for birds. The Contractor shall provide the Airfield Manager or designated representative with a schedule of Bird Control to be performed on the airfield and in hangars, buildings and structures. Bird Control of the aircraft movement area and flight line shall take priority when the airfield is open for flight operations. Bird Control shall also be performed in areas of lakes, water reservoirs, waterways, gravel and mineral extraction sites, landfills, woodlands and farms that are within three (3) statute miles of, and affect the habitat of the base, and an awareness of any activity within an eight (8) statute mile radius, which could have an impact on bird concentrations and flight
