The study is to include the evaluation of the present electrical infrastructure and capabilities, as well as the adequacy of the overall setup of these capabilities in pursuit of the National MagLab’s performance goals of reliably providing highest-quality magnetic fields and scientific capabilities. Further, the envisioned future expansion of electrical capabilities is to be evaluated. Also, the evaluation is to include the equipment status in view of lifetime, maintainability, redundancy and advised stock of spare parts for critical equipment.
