Back to List State of Iowa Bid Opportunities Bid Information Bid Number 005-RFB-0201-2022 Solicitation DOC Mental Health Programs Solicitation Type Request for Bids County Description Description The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking a Bidder to provide a comprehensive mental health program delivery plan to ensure the peer to peer and support group connections programs identified by DOC leadership. These programs have been identified for incarcerated individuals to address some of the behavioral health-related challenges identified recently in the Justice Reinvestment Oversight Committee reports. Iowa has nine Department of Correction institutions. More information can be found at https://doc.iowa.gov. There is no current or previous Contract through DAS Central Procurement to provide these services. Estimated number of incarcerated individuals to be involved in the programming to be between 120-200 per year.

Any Bidder that meets the requirements of this RFB is encouraged to submit a bid. There will be one Bidder Awarded. The term of the contract will begin upon Award, and end on November 30, 2023. The Agency shall have the sole option to renew the contract upon the same or more favorable terms and conditions for up to 5 annual extensions. The resulting contract will be available to all State Agencies.
