Deicer Parts Sole Source

NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLEThe 168th Mission Support Contracting office at Eielson AFB Alaska intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order to a single source in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-3(b)(3)(i).  This requirement is for the procurement of the following items on Global Ground Supply deicing equipment:Quantity: 2, F/K, AP BLOWER UPGRADE-HO F2’16Quantity: 2, CABLE ASSY, AE1/AE2 (67FT)Quantity: 1, CABLE ASSY, AA/PA (67FT)Quantity: 1, CABLE ASSY, AB/PB (67FT)Quantity: 4, STRAIN RELIEF, PG29Quantity: 2, F/K, BOOM WEAR PADS-2ND STAGEThe 168th Wing’s deicing equipment was acquired from Global Ground Supply.  As a result, all parts and equipment to maintain the deicers must be procured through Global Ground Supply.  Parts and equipment acquired from another source would be incompatible with the deicer equipment.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336413 with the size standard of 1250

employees.This is a special notice publicizing the intent of the government to issue a firm fixed price purchase order to a single source in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-3(b)(3)(i).  This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation document exists for this requirement; however, if there are any other businesses that can meet the government’s requirement, they must respond to this notice by emailing the provided POCs.  Responses are due not later than 2 August 2022 at 1:00PM Alaska Time.Firms responding to this notice must provide in their email: company name, business size under NAICS 336413, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can meet the government’s requirement.  This is to include, but not limited to: manufacturer’s license/authorization and capability to provide brand-name parts.  Oral responses to this notice are unacceptable.Any information received will be treated as market research information for future same or similar requirements.  Contract award is subject to the availability of funds.
