Water Filtration Plant Operator City of Port Washington, WI The City of Port Washington Water Utility is currently accepting applications for a full time Filtration Plant Operator. Minimum qualifications and experience include high school graduation or equivalency, and a Wisconsin DNR S-1 certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire. The position requires that the individual become fully trained in all operations of the 4 MGD Surface Water Filtration Plant.  This position is for a rotating shift.  One month of first shift, one month of second shift, and one month of swing shift. The normal workweek for all full-time Filtration Plant employees shall be forty (40) hours. In addition, such employee shall normally be scheduled on 7 days on 2 days off, 7 days on 2 days off, 6 days on and 4 days off. Salary range is $25.56/hr. - $31.71/hr.
