Driving will require all-terrain and weather conditions that are experienced in the mid-west throughout the year.BackgroundMiami County is a local government organized on April 2, 1857, located in the east-central part of Kansas along the state line and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The county serves a diverse and expanding population through multiple agencies, (26) twenty-six county departments, and offices. The county has more than 250 public servants serving in more than (7) seven offices located throughout the county. Miami County is dedicated

The BOCC appoints a County Administrator.
