The primary objective of this project is to redesign using a WordPress backend, with AVADA toolset for editing management. The overarching aim is to provide high-quality customer service through cutting-edge technology and fostering an inclusive, well-informed City with opportunities for all. The City envisions that this new technology will not only increase communication methods to the public and city residents (e.g., City events, emergency notifications, announcements), but also increase effectiveness and efficiency of work process for City employees (e.g, customer service, work request process). The City aims to maintain the websites in-house, so the redesigned websites shall be accompanied by proper training and be easily edited and updated in the future. The four (4) websites included in this bid are: The City of Gardena’s main website: www.cityofgardena.org Gardena Police Department’s website: www.gardenapd.org GTrans (Transportation Department) website: www.ridegtrans.com Internal HR website: https://GWEN In order to qualify for evaluation, prospective proposers shall have a minimum of three (3) completed website redesign and implementations in the last five (5) years at similar size or larger City or public agencies. Proposers shall include client lists and website addresses of previous work for evaluators to review.
