We are inviting industry to respond to this market research to help us demonstrate a competitive market for the below requirement.NOTE: This RFI is being submitted to gather comprehensive market research from GSA Multiple Award Schedule holders as well as Open Market contractors. The purpose of this initial RFI is to gather general industry input on how this type of requirement is best solicited and best practices. GSA Schedule 03FAC vendors that respond to the
eBuy RFI solicitation do not need to respond to this RFI posted elsewhere.Requirement Overview: This Sources Sought/Request for Information is in support of market research being conducted to seek industry input from all sources (small and large businesses) to determine acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal services to inventory to include documenting location, inspecting, recharging, testing and replacing (if necessary) approximately 4100 Portable Fire Extinguishers located within the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools located on military installations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and abroad (OCONUS) throughout the Pacific and Europe locations.This is Market Research Only in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a solicitation. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE ONLY. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of materials, machinery, or services. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI are solely at the responding parties' expense.
