The Biomedical Data Translator consortium requires design and development of a user interface for biomedical researchers to interact with the NIH Biomedical Data Translator (“Translator”).Translator is a resource for computer-assisted exploration and construction of new research hypotheses that connects and distills existing empirical knowledge spanning all types of biomedical data, including environmental, molecular, and clinical data. Translator is designed to make networks by connecting a variety of data types using both derived knowledge and well-curated data sources and present a user with the most relevant data to help augment their own analysis of translational research problems.Translator is an NIH-wide project funded through other transactional authority (OTA) and led by the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS), one of the 27 institutes and centers (ICs) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).Essential to the use of Translator is an intuitive interface that enables the user to interact with complex, diverse data sets and relationships, and develop and refine
