Invitation for Bids #745 Legal Notices and Classified Ads The County of Accomack is seeking sealed bids from newspapers that have circulation on the Eastern Shore to provide advertising services for the County of Accomack, Accomack County Department (of) Social Services, and the Accomack County Public School System. The types of advertising services required are for employment ads, invitations for bids, requests for proposals, ordinances, resolutions, and other notices as required by law. The successful paper will be the primary source for the County’s advertising, but departments and agencies may use their discretion to determine if advertising in other publications is more effective based on the population targeted. The complete IFB may be viewed here. Bids will be accepted in the Accomack County Finance Office, 23296 Courthouse Ave., Suite 204, (P.O. Box 620) Accomac, VA 23301 until Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at which time all bids received by the due date and time set for receipt of bids will be publically opened and read aloud via “Zoom” meeting. Interested parties wishing to join the live bid opening must request “Zoom” login information at least 24 hours prior to bid opening time. All bids received after the due date and time set for receipt of bids shall be returned opened.
