The Contractor will be required to remove the existing wall, electrical, lighting, door, etc. per the drawings and install a new wall with electrical and a new door. A new metal stud partition will then need to be installed between the copy room and passageway. For the door, the Contractor is to
use a 3’-0” X 7’-0” wood door with an 18-gauge steel frame to be attached to the new wall. Reuse the door lockset hardware from the current door. The Contractor will provide and install an electrical light switch and power receptacle to the interior wall of the copy room. A power receptacle will also be needed on the exterior wall. The Contractor will be using the current switches the City has. The Contractor will provide and apply paint with a primer coat plus two coats of selected finish color to the door and walls. Finish color will be provided by the City of Port St. Lucie’s Project Manager. The Contractor shall post wet paint warning’s around the wall and door after it is painted, and leave the warnings until the paint is completely dry. The contractor will provide and install 2’X2’ suspended acoustical tile ceiling system from the existing ceiling to the new wall in the copy room. The City of Port St. Lucie will provide the carpet for repair at the removed wall location. The Contractor will be required to clean the entire area prior to the City’s final inspection. E-Bidding Yes
