REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) No. 22-2426, Progressive Design-Build (PDB) Services New Elementary School on Redmond Elementary School Campus

The Lake Washington School District (LWSD) is releasing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to general contractors and architects to utilize Progressive Design-Build (PDB) in accordance with RCW 39.10. The Capital Projects Advisory Review Board’s Project Review Committee authorized LWSD to utilize this design-build alternative contracting procedure on June 24, 2022. Project Description & Information: This project will add a new elementary school on the underdeveloped land of the existing Redmond Elementary School campus in downtown Redmond. The new school will accommodate at minimum 552 students. Additional upgrades to existing infrastructure of the Redmond Elementary School campus may be a part of the project; further studies are required. This project is fully funded by the 2022 Building Excellence Construction Levy approved by the LWSD voters on February 8, 2022. Occupancy is expected in or before August 2025.
