The fuel storage system will consist of an above-ground storage tank (AST) that\nwill be located at the Fred G. Bond Metro Park, at 801 High House Road, Cary, North Carolina 27513.\nThe AST and associated appurtenances will be located within the on-site maintenance facility for fueling\nsmall off-road equipment such as tractors, riding mowers and similar vehicles.\n\nRefer to Section 0101, Part 1.1 for aSummery of Work\n\nAST construction standards are addressed in the North Carolina Building Code, Chapter 22 of the North\nCarolina Fire Prevention Code (IFC) and the National Fire Protection Association Standard 30 and 30A\n(NFPA 30 and NFPA 30A). Within the Town of Cary\u2019s jurisdiction, Cary's Fire Department administers\nSection 105 of theIFC, including inspections and permitting of ASTs which store flannmable liquids.\n\nPART 2 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS\n\nThe Town of Cary wishes to engage a wall-qualified contractor for the project. In conjunction with your price\nquote, the Town requests bidders demonstrate they have the skills and experienceto do thejob, and thefinandid\nbacking to finish it.\n\nIn addition to your proposed scope of work to performthe project, plesseincludethefollowing.
