The City of Decatur, Georgia will receive sealed proposals for invasive plant control and woodland restoration services in the City Manager's Office, 509 North McDonough Street, Decatur, Georgia 30030 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. The City is seeking the services of a firm, team, partnership, or joint venture to provide invasive plant control and woodland restoration services for Legacy Park in Decatur, Georgia.
Funding is to be provided by the City of Decatur. Firms or teams will be required to comply with all applicable regulations of the City of Decatur and the State of Georgia. The project area includes a 77-acre park, a woodland area of about 30 acres, a pond and nearby wetlands. The woodland includes a 22.5 acre section protected by a conservation easement.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. Participants may attend by registering at

Any questions and/or misunderstandings that may arise from this proposal should be submitted in writing prior to this conference.
