Specifically, LE requires a Recruiting Agency with documented success in recruiting and long-term placement of experienced Power Plant or other Heavy Industrial Technical professionals, in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, and other niche or hard to fill positions. Experienced Operators, Controls Technicians and Electricians are vital to the Operation and Maintenance of a Combined Cycle generation facility, and LE requires the opportunity to select potential hires from a wider pool of skilled candidates than is currently available through more traditional means, or past practice. The very specialized and critical nature of the positions LE will need to fill in the coming months and years, require
candidate evaluations best performed by Recruiters experienced with the skill sets needed, and the needs of the Power Industry in general. LE is not adequately staffed to perform in-depth experience appraisals of multiple candidates in a timely fashion. When positions are lost to retirement as the workforce ages, skill gaps create unacceptable risk of critical equipment neglect and failure. Recent efforts to fill vital positions have revealed a dearth of skilled individuals in the radius of our potential candidate pool.
